Once I had it all; a high profile job, fulfilling personal life, and a couple of really swell girlfriends. Truly - my cups did runneth over. So, when I left Chico, California in the Fall of 2006, bound for a 30th High School Reunion in Petaluma, California, I never imagined the sudden and devastating misfortune that would befall me there! A midlife crisis of such enormous proportions, that it changed not only the way I viewed the world - but altered my life's path forever! And if not for the kindness of an old bosom buddy, that would have been the end of my story. Thankfully, it was only the beginning.....
